John was born in 1838, all three were born in Pennsylvania, and moved to McHenry County sometime prior to 1860. In 1867, John moved to Pottawattamie County Iowa where he married Eliza German. I believe James and Hester lived out their lives in McHenry County. Any information on the Roanes would be greatly appreciated. - Chris Andersen
