Hi, Would it be possible for you to arrange for the e-mails that come from this list to have added to the start of their subject line with "ILMCHENR-L" ? I am not sure how you do this through RootsWeb but most of the lists I am on do this. Sometimes it is hard to tell when an e-mail from this list comes through, whether or not it is from the list, or if it is SPAM by its subject line. It took me several hours to find the answer, so I thought I'd post it to help out anyone else who might need it in the future. I found a McHenry County Fact Sheet at: http://www.cyberdriveillinois.com/departments/archives/irad/mchenry.html which says that Byron was renamed Dunham in December of 1850, about 2 months after the census was taken. At the same time, Benton was changed to Burton, Centre to Dorr and Brooklyn to Nunda.
