Surnames: Darrall, Clark, Bannister Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Zg.2ADI/738 Message Board Post: I am trying to locate any information on Ameila Jane Clark Darrall/Darrell. She was born about 1851 in New York and died March 17, 1871 in Woodstock, IL. I have written documentation from her husband, Bela Darrall and his family, that she did indeed die in Woodstock, but I have not been able to locate her place of burial. Bela remarried Mary Caroline Bannister and moved to Price county, Wisconsin, and is buried there. I also have no idea who the parents of Amelia might be. Any information would be very much appreciated.

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Conroy Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Zg.2ADI/735.1.1 Message Board Post: Yes ...In the genealogy room, on the lower level there is a large ledger type book of baptisms and marriages from St. Patrick's Church in Hartland. It has enlarged copies of the actual pages of parish records. There is also an every name index which lists every page on which a Surname occurs. (including sponsors) I took the entire book to the copy machine, removed each page as I needed it and made a copy. It was a 150 mile round trip for me, but well worth it. My only negative response is that I'm not really sure marriages were in the book. Have fun!

I visited the Hartland church last summer looking for records of that period, but they didn't have any. My g-grandparents were married there in 1856 and several of their children would probably have been baptized there. I would love to view those records. Are you saying photocopies of those records exist at the Crystal Lake Library?

Surnames: Conroy Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Zg.2ADI/735 Message Board Post: While doing research at the Crystal Lake Library, I viewed the St. Patrick's Church, Hartland 1853-1868 index and photocopy of Baptism and Marriage records. In the front of the book, there was an undated Brides & Mothers Index of the same church. I would like to have copies of two entries on that list. However the list was not dated and the two listings were not included in the photocopy of church records. (at least I did not find them) .How do I find these marriage records? Neither is included on the State marriage list. (Conroy is the grooms surname in both listings) Thank You.
