    1. Benjamin B. Brown and wife, Anna Lawrence Way
    2. I am searching for the parents of Benjamin B. Brown b. abt 1795, and his birth place. It is thought he was born in North Adams, Berkshire County, MA but they have no records of his birth there. He married Anna Lawrence Way about 1819 and lived in Milo, Yates County, NY where he was in business with his father-in-law, Joshua Way before moving to McHenry County, IL in the mid 1830s. Anna died in 1842 in McHenry, McHenry County, IL. She is buried in McHenry Village Cemetery. Children were; Reliance, William W., Dr. Henry T., Horace, Susan, Mary E. and Homer. Benjamin died at the home of his daughter, Reliance, in 1866, King City, Gentry County, MO and is buried in Empire Prairie Cemetery. Sonja Abate

Birth Siblings Names: Patrick Abernathy 10/62 (was not relinquished..but birth mom does not have contact), me Barb 5/64 (I was born and adopted in Maryland and you will never know about me unless I find you).Birth sisters had strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes (eyes may have changed..mine are brown) Birth mom is small boned....5'4" tall, blonde hair and blue eyes. Birth dad is 5'11" , Red hair. I am 5'3" tall, dirty blonde hair. Birth mom does not remember dates of birth or where in Illinois you were born. She was in an abusive relationship with birth dad and has lost a lot of her memory. She does remember being at a police station and having the children taken from her into DCFS. She was supposed to get you back but couldn’t get on her feet fast enough. She was living in California when she signed the rel! inquishment papers. I found birth mom in Oct 2002 using Maryland Confidential Intermediary Program. I have only known that I am adopted since Aug 2002. Birth mom may remember the Doctors name Dr. Fahey....not sure how accurate this is.Sisters were born between 1965 and 1967...birth mom lost memory due to abusive birth dad. Censuses on Ancestry? "BJDuck", Johnsburg was part of other townships at that time, apparently McHenry Township. I noted in the 1860 census some Johnsburg names especially in pages 181-91 of McHenry Twp. part of the census. For example, you find Stilling and Befeld [proabably Brefeld] on p. 181-82, Kennebeck on p. 183, Dietrich p. 184. As a result, you will have to check very carefully in McHenry Twp., especialy toward the end of McHenry listings. The same seems true for 1870. On p. 42 is the Benolken family. Hope this is helpful.
