I am researching the Levi Hamilton family from Adair Co. KY. to McDonough Co. Illinois about 1830. Levi Hamilton and Malinda (Creel) had three sons, Harrison, Uriah & Silas. Harrison married Rachel Ballance, Uriah married Catherine Bridges and moved to Shenandoah, Iowa, Silas married Frances Chapman. I am a descendant of Harrison & Rachel through their son Joseph Franklin Hamilton married to Anna Lucinda Allison. Their son Andrew Welbourne Hamilton married Mettie Ora Ellis daughter of John Frederick Ellis and Mary Elizabeth Andrews.
