I am searching for any information about my gr gr grandfather, George Washington CAMPBELL, who married my gr gr grandmother, Mary E. TATE, in Macomb, IL on 6/27/1861. I found them before they were married on the1860 census - he is shown as a bachelor and she is shown living with her parents. The next mention of the family is on the1880 census where their daughter (my gr grandmother Nancy Isabelle "Dollie" CAMPBELL) is shown living with her aunt on her Mother's side still in Macomb (no mention of the parents). She then is listed on the Dawes Roll as married to my Gr Grandfather, Franklin BROWN . The Dawes application says they were married in 1883 in Goingsnake District, I.T. I also found them on the 1910 and 1920 census living in Narcissa, OK on what, I assume, was their allotment. Does anyone know what happened to George and Mary CAMPBELL after they were married, did they have any more children, where and when did they die, etc.? Also, does anyone know how Nancy Isabelle at the age of 20 could have ended up in Indian Territory in 1883? I have quite a bit of information after 1883 that I would be happy to share.
