Thanks so much to those who tried to find the marriage of John WILSON and Sarah HEATON! I am working with information handed down without any documentation, and so to move back any further, I need to find some facts, some documentation that might lead me on. I also have listed that this same John WILSON died in 1857 in Illinois. Since the son, Thomas John WILSON was born in Colchester, perhaps that is a good place to check? Someone offered to do lookups or give information from a cemetery in Colchester. Please send on any information that may be of assistance. Thank you!
