Thanks to the McDonough Genealogy Society, I have some new info on my families of McDonough Co, IL. The 1860 census which shows my Burnett family also shows that Norman Millington lived 2 doors away. It is believed that Norman was possibly the brother of Caroline (Millington) Burnett, wife of John Burnett. I have found these Millington marriages in the IL marriage site that connect to this family. Perhaps someone will recognize the spouses --- Samuel C. Millington m. (Mrs.) Julia Kane 12-23-1869 Henrietta Millington m. James Throckmorton 6-26-1876 Morgan C. Millington m. Louisa Hutton 12-31-1872 (possibly Cole Millington?) Clifford West Millington m. Alice Elmira Harris 9-23-1881 Rosa Millington m. Robert Hood 12-8-1887 (unsure of connection) Pearl Millington m. Newton Cloves 11-19-1900 (unsure of connection) A cemetery listing shows: Norman: 1-2-1818 to 8-22-1898 (WC) Emily A.: wife of Norman; 3-27-1839 to 6-2-1909 Charlie; died May 30, 1874 -- age 4 m. 21 d (WC) Birdie: died Oct 5, 1877; age 1 y 1m 10 d (WC) Allie E.; died Mar 14, 1882 -- age 2 y 9 m 15 d (WC) Can someone tell me what does (WC) mean? Thanks! Linda Garrett
