The McDonough County Genealogical Society's library is in a room in the Macomb Public Library. As far as I know, the Historical Society (separate group) doesn't maintain a collection outside of donations made to the Public and WIU's University Library. Info about the Genealogical Society, publications, the library, membership, a name database(13,000+ names), etc., is available on the Society web site: http://www.macomb.com/mcgs/ Society publications are available for purchase at Studio III Stitchery, 2nd floor, 133 S.
