Hello Listers, I am new to the list so thought I would throw this out and see if anyone can connect to it. John Patrick Colvin born July 15, 1884 in McDONALD Co. Illinois. Parents were Elijah Colvin and Ruth Keeling. This information gleaned from a marriage certificate between John and Mary Ethel May Robertson born February 2, 1897 in Staffordshire, England. They were married in Kamloops B. C., Canada on March 24, 1912. Witnesses were Bathiah Robertson mother of the bride and Thomas Hardin(g) Colvin brother of the groom. The marriage was performed in the home of Bathiah Robertson. If anyone has anything and I mean anything to add to this family PLEASE contact me at lilgram@gateway.net I am the granddaughter of both of them but at the moment I am searching the COLVIN line. I understand that John had a lot of brothers and sisters among them Thomas the oldest and William, Ryer, Manual, Martha, twins named Maude and Daude (these were their NICK names) George,Inez (she was kicked to death by the wicked Stepmother or so the story goes) there were at least 13 kids in this family. There is really a juicy story that goes with the children leaving HOME. If you connect I'll tell you all about it. But only if you connect. Maybe you have some good ones for me too. Best of regards Lynda Saxton In Spokane, Washington
