I have been looking for my great grandmother for some time. The other day I discovered a record of Marriage for Elizabeth Johns to John Lindenmeier in McDonough Co. Il in 1861. My grandfather John Lindenmeier was born in McDonough Co. or Quincy, Adams Co. Il in 1861-1864 and his father, John, remarried in Mc Donough Co. Il in 1865. I would like to find out more about Elizabeth and her family. Particularly if she past away in 1861-64 and who her parents and siblings were etc., I do not see what I need in the 1860 Census. Does anyone have any suggestions for this research?
