Hi Gang, My husband just spend a WONDERFUL vacation all over Ark, Mo, and IL. BUT the ABSOLUTE BEST time was in MaComb, IL. Yes Mary Jane it was 200% better than the Corvette Show! I just wanted to Thank Mary Jane White and her family for all of the Stories and information. The country side is very pretty. All we could think about is ALL THAT CORN AND NO CRAWFISH!! The people were so helpful and more than willing to tell their Stories. We were able to visit the Camp Creek Cemetary. If you have never see it, it's worth the trip. So much history up on that hill. We found the tombstones of my gggrandfather and mother EP and Catharine Munson. Also found their mothers who both were named Lydia. Lydia Munson and Lydia Sanders. Also found a gaunt Birdie Clark who died in infancy. We never knew her name. THEN to my suprise I found my other gggrandparents Franklin and Susanna Clark along with their children, Winifred Logan, George Clark, Effie Clark and Edward Clark. To my disappointment I never found my ggrandfather W.A. 'Joe' Clark even though all of my info said he was burried there. Joe is my mystery man for sure! I got to see some Crocks that my gggrandfather kiln produced. They have E.P. Munson in Colbolt Blue stamped on them. Does anyone have one for Sale??? I sure would love to have one. If you ever get to go to MaComb make sure you run up the road to Tenessee and go to the OLD Skating Rink. It's now a Flea Market packed with all sorts of nice things. The people who run it are super nice. Again I can't thank Mary Jane enough for the Great time!
