Hi everyone, After months of deliberation, I've decided to give up the Schuyler County and McDonough County ILGenWeb sites. Its time to move on, become a volunteer at the Schuyler Co. Jail Museum, do research for others, and become involved in our new community. It has been such a joy for me to gather information for the sites and meet all the wonderful researchers who have strong ties to the counties. You've all been such a great support! The two sites would be nothing if not for the contributions you've sent in! I will continue as a major contributor for the sites...I still have bookcases full of information to transcribe when time permits. I do hope that one of you would be interested in becoming a coordinator...it would mean a lot to me to have someone who really loves the county take it over.
