Hi Jamie, This has been fun! I got on the net and phone and found that the Chavalier Lodge in Bushnell is no longer in existence, and there is no Grand Lodge for the Knights of Pythias in Illinois. I did talk to the contact person for the Missouri Grand Lodge, and he said that if records are still available, they would only give the member's age, date he joined, dates of ranks, and when he past away. The sponsor may or may not be mentioned. He suggested contacting the Supreme Lodge and enquiring from them where the records may be located. You can do a search on the net for "Knights of Pythias" and get that information. Good luck in your search!
