    1. Archibald Fleming-Mary Greene family
    2. Dear Genealogy Friends, My 4th great uncle was Archibald C. Fleming, born July 8, 1833 in Madison Co. OH. He married Mary Green Sept. 4, 1862 in McDonough Co., IL. They lived there till about 1874, when they moved to Quincy, Adams Co., IL. I think he died about 1898. Mary died Feb. 7, 1932 in Berwyn, IL. She is buried with her parents in Bushnell Cemetery. 1. What was Archie's Civil War Unit? 2. Where did he die and when? 3. Where is he buried? 4. Know anything about his parents, John Fleming and Sarah Chappell? 5. What happened to their son, Oscar J. Fleming? That's plenty for a query, isn't it? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Sincerely, Carolyn Elder

    2. Looking for info (and verification of info) on: F. E. Stoneking (or maybe Fanny Stoneking) I have no birth info and no death info, but I learned from my aunt that she was baptised in Fandon, IL (I believe there is a baptismal certificate somewhere). She was married to: Hugh Mitchel Once again no birth info nor death info. He was listed in the 1910 census as being born in IL. I was also told by a greataunt that he was a doctor. Hugh Mitchel of England was also listed on the death certificate as his father (contradicts 1910 census record). He and Olive Gertrude Blakeman (B: 07 FEB 1875 in Pueblo, CO) had 8 children. 1) Grace Maud Mitchel B: 06 MAR 1893 Beardstown (Cass Co), IL M: Ed Jersey D: ?? ??? ???? 2) Ruth Frances Mitchel B: 03 JUL 1897 Clovis (Fresno Co), CA M: George Sproul D: 09 FEB 1984 Santa Barbara (Santa Barbara Co), CA 3) Bernice Ardiss Mitchel B: 05 FEB 1900 Beardstown (Cass Co), IL M: Carson Ruiz D: 22 NOV 1965 Santa Barbara (Santa Barbara Co), CA 4) Arthur Percival Mitchel B: 06 MAY 1902 Riverside (Riverside Co), CA M: None D: ?? ??? 1967 Long Beach (Los Angeles Co), CA - Drowned 5) Robert Paul Mitchel B: 06 MAY 1902 Riverside (Riverside Co), CA M: 1-? 2-Laura Ruth Thomas D: ?? ??? ???? I was lead to believe it was in McDonough County not in Henderson where she was born but I am checking both counties. Thank you. Angie McLaughlin mclaughl@evansville.net

    1. Hello to All !!!
    2. Hello, I found out some of the mailing list somehow I either accidentally subscribe or my just bounced back, so if I am already subscribed great. I just wanted to tell everyone that I have been very busy doing about 6 homepages, 30 forums on surnames (I will list later on surnames), make a wish, and muscular dystrophy. I have now 5 mailing lists. Bricker, Dailey, Durham, Swigart. And then I am subscribed to many many many mailing list myself. I haven't been able to do much lately because I have been so busy lately with my own. I thought since there are so many people asking for all of these URL's then I would email everyone at one time and just tell everyone in one mailing list. I am on 40 search engines, and linked to FTM and Cyndi's Howard's list. So I have been quite busy. But right now I am trying to make people aware of Make A Wish Foundation of America. Usually each state has one. There are many children out there who are gravely ill and this organization grants their wishes, most wishes are between 3,000-5,000 dollars, not all. And they have people like you and me donate to them, then they try to get big or small businesses to sponsor them also. So if you are wanting to donate and haven't done so please go to my page. I have all the email and URL's to these places including the ones I have mentioned above. Remember this isn't all yet. I still have the Make A. Wish Mailing list that will be starting soon, and The Make A. Wish forums. If you want to you can even volunteer for them. That would mean a lot to them. I better go for now. If anyone needs prayers, please email me at anytime so I can know who you are. Isn't Christmas wonderful. To all my friends, family, etc. Merry Christmas from me and my family. Sandra A. Sheldon Oh, just wanted you to know it might take a little while to come in. I have music and tons of links to come in. Have fun. ****************************************************************************** *************** Sandra A. Sheldon http://www.angelfire.com/ok2/SandraSheldon/index.html
