    3. Wm. A. Robbs died in Masaac Co. around 1923. Will I be able to get this information from the court house to see if this is our family member? We believe this is the son of James Robbs of Pope Co. The death date is the same. He is said to be buried in Pope Co. but there is no record of him being there. Are there any cemetery sites for Masaac Co. on the net? Thanks for any help.

    3. Sharon, According to the IL State Archives, William A. Robbs died in Metropolis Nov. 13, 1923. On the death certificate it should list his parents, providing the informant knew who they were. According to the Archives, you can get a copy from the Archives Reference Room, the IL Dept. of Health ( I believe you can order online through the Archives) or the county clerk. The death certificate # is 0640160 and it was filed on the date of death. Good luck in your search!     3. WM. ROBBS IS NOT LISTED IN ANY OF THE MASSAC CO. CEMETERY BOOKS. HE COULD HOWEVER BE BURIED HERE BUT HAS NO HEADSTONE.
