Hello, I beleive my great Grandmother's parents came to Massac Co. sometime between 1860 and 1870 from McCracken Co., KY. The family story says they drove a wagon pulled by oxen when the river was frozen. there names(I believe) were BOWLAND (BOWLIN) possible Henry and Tilvia. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Their dau. Rebecca married Major FLOWERS at the home of Daniel WOOD, Nov. 9, 1870. The Promulgator states they were both from Massac Co., IL Thank you for your time.
