I am researching the Black Families and Summers Families of Massac Co and Johnson Co Ill. 1850 thru 1900. James Wesley Summers and Rebecca Black had the following children: Mary Elizabeth Summers b 1866 -m John R Manning in Belknap, Johnson co 1890 William Wesley Summers b 1870 moved to Jackson Co Ark Charles Summers b 1873 - Frederic Summers b 1874 moved to Jackson Co Ark (My grandfather) Grant Summers b 1878 - Caroline Summers b 1880 - Moved to Jackson Co Ark Evaline Summers b 1885 John Franklin summers b 1887- Moved to Jackson Co Ark According to John Franklin's birth record he was the 12th child born to Rebecca. Only the five listed above were known to my mother until I started researching. Boy was she shocked when I took her to Illinois and found Uncle John's birth record. They moved to Stoddard Co and were on the 1900 census there. By 1904 they were in Jackson Co Ark when grandad married grandma. What happened to the rest of these siblings? thanks for any info. Wilma
