I wonder if someone could please do a look up for my William Chastain in 1870 Massac County, Illinois? He should be there with wife Margaret and sons Joseph, Calvin, George, and maybe daughter Lavinia. Joseph, as well as his brothers, are married by 1880 Census and are living in Pope County, IL. I went to our library here to look it up and found that we don't have the 1870 Illinois Index or Census for that year. I would sure appreciate this if someone could help me. William died sometime after his wife died in early 1870's, but they were suppossed to be living there, or in Pope County in 1870. They are not in KY in 1870. I checked that one out. William is buried in Oddfellows Cemetery there in Massac County. Some of you were so kind to help me find that one. Thanks again!
