Jackson was living in Toledo when he enlisted during the Civil War. His father was Andrew Jackson with mother Mary Seagle. Per Joseph's military papers and census records he was born in PA as were his parents. After the Civil War he married Ellen Shipp in Fulton County and they lived there until the late 1800s when they and their children moved to Kansas and on to Indian Territory, Miami, OK. Does anyone know anything about this family?
