POSSIBLE that Edwin's Mother's Surname is Hopkins, since one of his children have that as a middle name. That is usually how it went. The other children have normal middle names. Mike Hodge is her cousin so he must be the son of one of Jessie's daughters. She was able to give me more information on the descendents of Jessie. See the following e-mail. I still have not found out where in California they all live. It would be nice to know where Lottie is since she may be able to give some recollections of Grandpa William Henry and possibly even his mother Grandma Catherine Daniels since she died in 1920. First off though..Jessie May Conklin, is your Grandfather Merle Dean Conklin's sister, and my Grandmother. She married Charles Everett Trailor in Visalia Calif. on 28th day of June in 1909. They had three children..John Charles..Dorthy and Lottie. John married my Mom Patricia Joan Bailey and they produced three children..Jimmy Craig, John Charles, and me Suzette Renee'. My Dad passed away when we were very young and the family split up. So I know very little about our history. All my Grandparents are gone..Aunts Uncles. And I still have to get up to see Lottie. They live up in the Mountains around here. Mike says her memory is very clear and she just had a birthday. She is now 90 years old. Hopefully I will get the chance before to long to visit with her and gain some more knowledge about our family, and get to know my Aunt again. I have some really great pictures of Jessie, Lottie, Dorthy, and Dad. Mike sent me a picture of Jessie dated 1907. It is a great picture! Well anyway I hope that gives you a little more insight as to how the Trailor line comes into play. We are a hard bunch to track down.
