Thank you for your reply. I do not know much about my grandfather Harry Brent's family because he died in the late 50's in St. Louis, Missouri. At this time, I was a child and living in Savannah, Georgia. The only way I know he was born In Havana, Illinois is from a photo- copy of my father Allen Dugger Brent's birth certificate (born in Litchfield, Illinois 19 October 1908,died in Savannah, Ga. in March 1960). Here is what I do know about my father's parrent's and family: wife: Grace Dugger(born in Carlinville,Illinois in 1884 or 1885, died in St.Louis,Missouri in late 1960's) Children: Allen Dugger Brent,Harriet Brent Lucco, Martha Brent Cason(died in St. Louis in late 1950's or early 1960's), and another daughter who died in her's teens of some kind of disease). I think my grandfather owned or worked for drugstore in both Litchfield and Gillespie Illinois . I know for a fact that the Great Depression was the reason my grandparents moved to St. Louis,Mo . I know that the Brent's are of English or Welsh descent. I hope this additional information will help you determine if this is same Harry Brent in your family tree.
