Did she and John Nix have a son John I. Nix born in about 1847? Does the I stand for Isaac? Did Mahala also marry John W. Boring in 1856 in Mason Co. and have a son William B. Boring born about 1857? Did she then marry Leland Carpenter in 1863 in Mason Co. and have a daughter Kate M. born about 1868? John Nix and Mahala married June 11, 1846 in Mason Co., and he died about 1848. Do you have information on when he died and where he is buried? Is the Leland Carpenter Mahala married the same Leland Carpenter who was husband of her sister Sarah?
