The first cemetery we went to was, Mason City Cememtery in Mason City, Mason County Illinois. The following STONES were found in this cemtery: 1.Wesley I Stone b. Sept. 13, 1924 d. July 19, 1926 5.Russell I. b.Apr 29, 1898 d.Sept 29, 1978 6.Susie J b.Aug. 3, 1901 d.April 19, 1982 7.Maria P. His Wife 1833-1917 8.Isaac F Stone 1829-1915 9.John F 1861-1930 10.Clara E 1864 - 1930 11.Mary G Wife of C L Stone Died Oct 25, 1884 Aged 37 Ys 2M 20Ds A kind ???, devoted mother and s??? friend 12.Inez B Killed by Cyclone May 18, 1883 Aged 1 yr 9mo 9Ds 13.Colonel Burton Died Sep 10, 1884 Aged 4 mo & 22Ds Children of CL & MG Stone 14.Arthur L Stone 1874 - 1962 15.Jennie L Stone 1862 - 1929 16.Claudius L Stone 1845 - 1927 17.Mary G Stone 1847 - 1884 18.Inez B Stone b.Aug 9, 1881 d.May 18, 1883 19.C Burton Stone b.May 8, 1884 d.Sept 30, 1884 The Second Cemetery we visited was Irish Grove Cemetery in Menard County (formerly Sangamon County). I must note, there are a LOT of STONES, PATTERSONS and other related Family/Surnames in this cemetery. Only the STONEs were found on this day.
