She was born Dec. 11, 1913 at Easton, to Edgar and Fern Culp Ingersoll. She married Lowell R. McConnell on Feb. 24, 1940 at Wilmette and he died Nov. 29, 1971 in Peoria. She was a graduate of the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing; a past member of the Mt. Hawley Country Club; a past member of the Peoria County Law Wives; a member of the First United Methodist Church. Surviving are one son, Thomas C. (Mary Jane) McConnell of Antioch; one duaghter, Cathie (Richard) Wilton of Peoria; one brother, Charles E. Ingersoll of Redding, Calf.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Cumerford-Endsley-Diggle Funeral Home, Peoria, with Rev. Dr. John H. Stanley officiating. Interment was at the American Mausoleum. ----- Transcriber's notes: I assumed that when the obituary named Easton, it meant the one in Mason County, Illinois.
