There is a Harding mailing list on Rootsweb. There may be a Hardin list also. I know some Hardings apparently were Hardin to begin with. If you go to http://www.rootsweb.com you can find all the lists. There were Hardings in Knox County who were connected to the Burlington RR and, IIRC, one was a State Legislator.
