Elmore 92, of Mason City, died at 4:55 a m Friday May 4, 2001 at Abraham Lincoln Hospital, Lincoln, IL. Her funeral will be at 11 am Monday at Hurley Funeral Home, Mason City, the Rev. Philip Denham officiating. Burial will be in Mason City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 Sunday at the funeral home Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. She was born July 11, 1908 in Mason County, a daughter of Louis and Mamie Sloat Blessman. She married Vertus "Dewey" Elmore in March of 1944. He preceded her in death July 1982. Survivors are two daughters Rosemary Edsel, Arizona; Patricia Elmore, Mason City; two sons Raymond Thomas, Virginia; and Daniel Elmore, Hawaii; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four gg grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; three brothers and a daughter Irene Dunham.
