There were Lees in HArdin and Hamilton Counties in the late 1800's and early 1900's. My great grandmother, Laura IRBY MASON STACEY had a Lee in her family background. I have the obituary for her brother Arthur Lee IRBY from Feb. 14, 1914 where he died in HArdin Co., IL. I am told by distant family members that the Lees were mostly from Hamilton Co., IL.
