Walter Aquilla ALEXANDER, b. 1790-1800, died about 1847-1848, letters of admin. of probate in Marion Co. Five of his children married in Marion Co. in the 1840's--1860's. NEED parents, siblings, county of birth, place of burial, where he was in 1840----ANYTHING. Solomon MITCHELL, b. 1814 IL, died 1858 Wayne Co. IL?? Married Paulina Alexander in Salem, Marion Co. IL in 1843. NEED his parents, siblings, place of burial----whatever. Also would like to know about Solomon's son by a prior marriage, William Mitchell, b. 1840, IL (probably St. Clair Co.). Think he was alive in 1873, to make marriage affidavit for a half brother, in Fayette Co. But wasn't on the census there in 1870. A noted genealogist said that the sign outside the pearly gates will say "We know the parents". I hope not to wait that long. Thanks a lot, Dot
