SOURCE: MISCELLANEOUS NEWSPAPER OBITUARIES FROM FOOTPRINTS OF MARION COUNTY, FALL 1987 EDITION, VOL 12, NO. 2 ALICE BRANNON --------------------------------- Funeral was held Monday in the chapel in the Luer Funeral Home in Centralia for Alice BRANNON, 62, of 320 West Kerr in Centralia. She was dead on arrival at St. Mary's Hospital Friday afternoon following a sudden illness (d. 16 Jan 1976). Rev. Louis ROBINETT officiated and burial was in East Lawn Cemetery at Salem. Mrs. BRANNON was born June 22, 1913, the daughter of John and Charity (BOYLES) FINLEY of Marion County and was married on June 22, 1933 to Lowery BRANNON who died in June of 1975. She was a former employee of Brown Shoe Company of Salem. She resided in Centralia for the past six years and prior to that, resided in Cooledge, Arizona. Survivors include three brothers, John I. and Bill B. FINLEY, both of Centralia, and Richard M. FINLEY of Sandoval; seven sisters, Darline STEEVENS of Salem, Dorothy BRANNON of Detroit, Michigan, Mildred BELL of Cooledge, Arizona, Pearl BOULDEN of Kansas City, Missouri, and Fern DOWNEN, Irene AHLF and Clara KUHN, all of Centralia. ###
