Sid, Happy to help with what I have. As I mentioned previously, there seems to be many discrepancies in the Silas Wright book. My information comes from bible pages which are in my possession. Rather than give this to you in tree form, I will type it the way it appears in the bible. My own notes or comments are within brackets. [side 2, column 2] <these two were step brother/sister, Eli was son of Thos J Boring and Elizabeth Pursley. Ellen Jones was dau of Willis Jones and Eliza Chance><other sources indicate a marriage date of July 28 1861> Eli Boring and Ellen Jones were Married July , 1859 There are other births and marriages listed, but the ones I have listed here pertain to the Jones' and Eliza Chance. Thank you, Cheryle. These dates are more compatible with census data so I guess I have the right household located in the 1850 census. Can you tell me the name of the individual who probably wrote those entries in that bible, if it is known? I have the marriage date of Thomas J. Boring and Margaret Irwin as 17 Sep 1842 in Marion County, book A, page 16.
