I have a story line on a John F. Adams, his wife Ann Moreton Adams, and their descendants. John was born in Ireland in 1810. He went to the Bermuda Islands, and here he married Ann Moreton. John and Ann moved to the USA and settled in Illinois (Fayette & Marion Counties) Thinking he was dead, she later married George Washington Mulvaney and that is how I came into this information. Hi Sandy, I read your posting with interest since someone sent me the story of Ann many years ago. I am distantly related to this group through GW who married into my Wilson (Jeff Co.) line. I am also descended from the Courson, Shanafelt and Rothrock lines of Marion Co. I have many happy memories of Marion Co. from days spent on the farm of Dave and Mattie Wilson Courson, my grandparents. Would be interested in any information concerning these families.
