Do you know if Samuel Michael had a brother named Elias? Elias Michael was born in about 1805 and died in Greene Co., IN in 1880. The Census shows many different states as his birth place-Illinois in 1850 Census, Kentucky in the 1860 and in 1870 he was born in Virginia. I think I found his son Samuel living in Lawrence Co., IL in the 1850 Census. I have one marriage listed for him in Greene Co., IN in 1845 to Polly Russell. My gr grandfather Lewis Newton Michael said his mother was Mary Butler. Newt was born about 1855 in Greene Co., IN. Mary Gardner
