Dot Bellmer e-mailed me 6 pages from the Footprints in Marion Co. (see my e-mail to the list). In that article are several names of newspapers for Salem...now if I could just get those microfilms! ;-} Don't know when I'll ever get there to do that research myself. My Youngs were in Henry & Bureau Co., IL between 1850-1870, then on to Kansas thru Iowa. Don't think they ever got as far south as Marion Co. Sally
