    3. First, many, many thanks to Dot Bellmer for scanning those pages of the Footprints in Marion Co. for me!! What a great document for the Marion Co. Genealogical Society to publish!! I do have a correction to that article (Vol 16, No. 1, Summer 1991, p. 69-74, Abe Earnhart - The Music Man) if there is anyone from the Society on this list. On page 73, paragraph 7: "Both Charles (born in 1856) and Georgia (EARNHART) RANDOLPH (born in 1874) died in 1938. She on June 2 and he on June 27, and are buried in East Lawn Cemetery." My comment: The Charles D. Randolph buried in East Lawn Cemetery (1856-1938) is more likely to be Charles R. Randolph's uncle. The 1920 Census shows the two Charles and Georgia living in Salem together. Charles R. Randolph, the husband of Georgia Earnhart, was born in 1871-1872 in Youngstown, Ohio and was the son of John Clayton Randolph (1848-1935 in Paulding Co., OH). Charles R. Randolph, husband of Georgia, was still alive in 1947 and living in Salem, IL per the obituary of his brother, John Francis "Frank" Randolph of Youngstown, OH. John Clayton Randolph had a brother named Charles Davis Randolph, b. 1854. The 1920 Census shows him to be 66. In the 1930 Census the two Charles, Georgia, and Georgia's son, Charles Baker were living with Abraham and Florence Earnhart, Georgia's parents. However, Charles #1 & #2 & Georgia are listed with the last name of LaMont. The Randolph/LaMont name was used interchangeably because the Randolph's owned/managed the LaMont Brothers Circus that wintered in Salem, IL for 27 years (1901-1928). Is there anyone in Marion Co. who would be willing to check out East Lawn Cemetery for me. I'd be willing to reimburse for photos. I would like to see if Charles R. Randolph (Abt 1871-Aft 1947) is buried there or possibly somewhere else in the county. According to the article all of the following folks from this family should be buried at East Lawn: Charles D. Randolph (1856-1938) (the uncle) Georgia Randolph (1874-1938) John Earnhart (1802-1871) Nancy Earnhart (1802-1891) Abraham Earnhart (1842-1930) Florence Earnhart (Abt 1851-1932) TIA, Sally Holden Dyson longtalsally@comcast.net Researching: Holden, Gaston, Sabin, Catlin, Ide, German, Frost, Gleason, (Fitz)Randolph, Roberts, Hughes, Jones, Hogan, Russel(l), Young, Dyson, Watts, Brown, Swann and many more

    3. Sally In a quick look at the East Lawn cemetery index Charles D. Randolph and Georgie Randolph are buried there. I do not see Charles R. Maybe Dot has the rest of the cemetery books and can find him.. I also see Jon Earnheart buried in east lawn. I should be able to get the pictures in a couple days since I do not live too far from there. Did I ask you about your Young connections?? Ray Young --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
