I'm just glad I could help. The physician lists were taken from the Illinois State Board of Health Annual Reports and Official Registers, located in the University of Illinois Library. If anyone on this list lives in that area, perhaps they can make a copy for you. Anyone?? Good luck in your research! John Wesley Blackburn b. 20 Nov. 1834, was my g-g-grandfather. He would have been 48 years old in 1882 as stated in your info. I had been told he was a physician, and this seems to be the case. It is wonderful to learn additional facts about our ancestors. I did not know he was born in Tenn. George Washington Blackburn who was divorced from Avis O. Webb Blackburn was John Wesley's son and, also, brother to my g-grandfather, John Wesley Blackburn, Jr. As for Norman Blackburn, I will have to do more research to learn who he was and where he fits in. Again, let me say thanks for your generosity. We should ALL be so kind!
