Elsie B. Powell is a 1C2R of mine. I'm looking for the dates of death and place of interment of her grandparents William Powell and Martha E. Nichols (Elsie's grandfather William is my GG grandfather). Elsie's father was also named William (her mother was Cora Chance). Any help there? Martha was the daughter of Morgan Washington Nichols. William, I think, was an orphan born either Louisiana or Missouri (records conflict) at age 14 residing in the household of John Clark in Madison County (1850). The last record I've been able to find of William and Martha Powell is residence in Tonti Township, Marion County as of 1880.
