Well, James, better late than never. I thought I had answered this but spring cleaning my mailbox found I had not. Very sorry. Yes, I have a Michael Justice married to Sarah Wilkins. I was able to pick up a little bit of undocumented information from running a parents' search at LDS, one of the FTM family trees and also some information from a WHAM genealogy internet site but I don't know how much of it, if any, is accurate. As is typical, the LDS data for Michael JUSTICE and Sarah WILKINS was not quite right. In reviewing census images for the 1850 Marion County census, I found: Miqual Justice, age 32, farmer, b TN Sarah, age 28, b TN Mary, age 6, b IL* Joseph, age 2, b IL Benjamin, age 4, b IL** Elizabeth, age 3, b IL Esther, age 1, b IL *I believe this is Mary Jane Justice who married John Helm, s/o Jesse Helm and Dolly Burkett **I believe this is the same Benjamin Justice who married the poor Helm daughter with the mouthful name, Isolathus Palina Mary Dupriney Campaign Helm, another daughter of Jesse and Dolly Burkett Helm. In the 1870 Census, Marion County, Iuka, Romine Precinct, I found two "Mikel" Justice households next door to each other: Mikel Justice, age 22, farmer, b TN Susan, age 21, keeping house, b IL Joseph, age 5 or 8 months (image is hard to read), b IL Mikel Justice, age 50, farmer, b TN Maria, age 34, keeping house, b IL (I think this is Maria C Helm, d/o Jesse & Dolly again) Emily, age 17 Abraham, age 11 Salina, age 9 Ida, age 7 Larkin, age 3 I don't find a Robert Justice for Miqual and Sarah Justice in 1850 or Mikel and Maria Justice in 1870, so I don't know who he really belonged to -- it's possible he might have died young. Now I have even more questions: Did Michael Justice who married Sarah Wilkins marry a second time to Maria C Helm, or is this a different Michael? Is Michael Justice, age 22 in the 1870 census, the son of Michael and Sarah Wilkins Justice? The LDS IGI records search also identified a Lydia Rhoda Justice b abt 1855 as daughter of Michael and Sarah Wilkins. I found her (I think) living with her sister Mary Jane and her husband John Helm (enumerated as Hellem) in the 1870 census. I can always count on my ancestors to confuse me <grin> Cheryl
