THANK YOU JODY!!! John Wesley Blackburn b. 20 Nov. 1834, was my g-g-grandfather. He would have been 48 years old in 1882 as stated in your info. I had been told he was a physician, and this seems to be the case. It is wonderful to learn additional facts about our ancestors. I did not know he was born in Tenn. George Washington Blackburn who was divorced from Avis O. Webb Blackburn was John Wesley's son and, also, brother to my g-grandfather, John Wesley Blackburn, Jr. As for Norman Blackburn, I will have to do more research to learn who he was and where he fits in.
