You must not be all that old then, because those kids were about my mother's age and went to school with her too! My great grandmother and my grandmother who lived in the Clinton Co., side of Centralia are buried in the same place my Marion Co. members of my mother's family are buried, and that's in the big cenetery in or around Central City. I think it's called Oak Knoll Cemetery, but I'll have to find my grtandmother's burial plot deed to check it out. It might be a good place for you to contact to see if the folks you are looking for are there. The Teeters who lived across the street had no childen. Mr. Teeters had a brother who had children and at least one of them moved to PAxton, in Ford Co., IL during the 1960's. That family later moved to Urbana, Champaign Co., IL. That's all I know about them. I will see if my grandmother remembers their first names, but she is havaing a lot of trouble with her memory, so I don't know if she will remember or not. Donna, did your Mother go to CTHS? I graduated in 1938. Or maybe that was your Grandmother. As I recall Katherine Fark was in either Band or Chorus with me. Also I I recall she was very pretty. Don't know what ever happened to her. Other relatives of mine were Hoag in Clinton and Marion. Also in Champaign. One of my best friends is 3rd generation Army Brat and in turn married a career Army man and had 3 children who were Army Brats. Either one or two born in Germany when they were stationed there.
