There is an old GAR Chapel in Elmwood Cemetery. A few years back it was somewhat renovated, through the spearhead efforts of a lady named Ann Chappel in Centralia . I believe,that years ago, in the winter months when the ground was too frozen to dig burial plots, the chapel was used for a temporary resting place. Brenda
