Does anyone have information related to HICKS GAR POST 255 KINMUNDY ILLINOIS? Especially interested in the membership roster. Thanks

Is this a VFW or an American Legion Post? I am interested as an American flag appears on my ggrandfather's grave every holiday, THOMAS G. MILLER. So far I have been able to find what war he served in and I wrote to the American Legion Post several years ago but received no answer.
