Meg Are you talking about the Genealogy Society in Salem. If so it is right on the main road going through Salem in the basement of the Library. They are only open from noon to 4 on Wednesday unless you are a member and then you can get in anytime with your card. There is also a fantastic genealogy place in Mt. Vernon that has about anything you want so I hear but haven't had a chance to get there yet, and don't know the exact address for it.
