    3. I was searching for my ggrandfather, THOMAS G. MILLER, who is buried in Elmwood Cemetery. Every holiday a small American flag appears on his grave and I was interested and wanting to thank who ever was responsible for this. Someone on this list found his service record for me. He served in the Union army from 25 June 1841 Company E 22 Infantry and was mustered out 07 July 1864. I am not familiar with the GAR and would be interested in knowing more about your organization.     3. I am not aware as to who does the flags in the Centralia Cemetery, however, the American Legion does most of the cemeteries in the northern part of Marion County. meb

    2. Prairie State Chapter Daughters of The American Revolution put the Flags on the graves in Elmwood Cemetery. Hillcrest Memorial Park Owners put the Flags on the graves there
