9/11/2002 Hanna ST. FRANCIS � William Ernest Hanna, 94, of St. Francis died Monday, Sept. 9, at Piggott Community Hospital. Born in Alma, Ill., he owned and operated a service station for 45 years, was a 50-year member of Eastern Star Masonic Lodge No. 207 and was a member of the United Methodist Church in St. Francis. Survivors include a son, Johnny Hanna of Germantown, Tenn.; a sister, Marguerite Vineyard of Malden, Mo.; and a granddaughter, Rebecca Ruth Hanna Riffell of Phoenix. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Hanna; his parents; a son; three brothers; and three sisters. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home at Piggott, with Willyne Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Piggott Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., and Masonic services are scheduled at 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
