I have a death certificate from Fayette County for a William BRYANT, age 2, who was born in Marion County in 1878. My great aunt, Martha MC COLLUM b. SC March 1840, married a William Ames BRYANT born TN, about 1836, in Fayette County 17 March 1858. They had a son, James Douglas, or Douglas James, born probably 1858, or possibly 1859. Martha remarried in 1878 in Fayette County, but I believe William had been dead too long for him to be the father. Besides, they lived in the Bingham area. This William BRYANT, 2, could very possibly have been a son of Douglas. Does anyone have any information as to who baby BRANT belonged to? Bob in NM
