My ancestor Henry Dukes went from TN to MO to Marion Co IL about 1853. I have many of his descendants and have communicated with both Mark Paine and the Sibinskis. We know that Henry's parents were Henry Dukes and Ferribe Jane Parker of NC and TN. We can't find the parents of either, but would like to find out if and how the Parkers and Dukes who came to Marion Co were related to the Dukes. We'd like to reconstruct the early Parker family there if possible. We know that Ferribe had a sister Rebecca Parker who married a James Farmer and went to TN with Henry and Ferribe about 1830. They had a daughter Elizabeth Farmer who married Henry Sr.'s brother John Dukes, her first cousin, and John and Elizabeth lived in Marion Co in 1840 and 1850. I know this is confusing--I don't see how they kept it straight, myself, but what I really want to know is if the Parker descendants there have traced the family--if there is a family tree.
