Steve It does not look like I am going to be of much help finding what happened to your Benjamin Courson. Neither of my good "sources" have a death date or burial place for him or Elizabeth. Her brother Samuel Shanafelt married Elizabeth Courson. they are in East lawn cemetery in Salem. This is my line. Her sister Susanna married George Courson he diedAug 11 1888 and is in Courson cemetery. Elizabeth Courson is listed in the 1850 census but Benjamin is not.
