I too am sorry. I may have been the one that it was forwarded from.I don't know who sent it to me, but I got the Virus and before I could stop it it went to all my email. It damaged my computer and files and I paid a man to come and clear it for me. I think it's terrible of people to do this. The man who worked on my computer said "don't open any attachment even if you know who its from as the same thing could have happened to them without their knowledge" This has been a mess and I will never open another attachment. As is typical, the LDS data for Michael JUSTICE and Sarah WILKINS was not quite right. In reviewing census images for the 1850 Marion County census, I found: Miqual Justice, age 32, farmer, b TN Sarah, age 28, b TN Mary, age 6, b IL* Joseph, age 2, b IL Benjamin, age 4, b IL** Elizabeth, age 3, b IL Esther, age 1, b IL *I believe this is Mary Jane Justice who married John Helm, s/o Jesse Helm and Dolly Burkett **I believe this is the same Benjamin Justice who married the poor Helm daughter with the mouthful name, Isolathus Palina Mary Dupriney Campaign Helm, another daughter of Jesse and Dolly Burkett Helm. In the 1870 Census, Marion County, Iuka, Romine Precinct, I found two "Mikel" Justice households next door to each other: Mikel Justice, age 22, farmer, b TN Susan, age 21, keeping house, b IL Joseph, age 5 or 8 months (image is hard to read), b IL Mikel Justice, age 50, farmer, b TN Maria, age 34, keeping house, b IL (I think this is Maria C Helm, d/o Jesse & Dolly again) Emily, age 17 Abraham, age 11 Salina, age 9 Ida, age 7 Larkin, age 3 I don't find a Robert Justice for Miqual and Sarah Justice in 1850 or Mikel and Maria Justice in 1870, so I don't know who he really belonged to -- it's possible he might have died young. Now I have even more questions: Did Michael Justice who married Sarah Wilkins marry a second time to Maria C Helm, or is this a different Michael? Is Michael Justice, age 22 in the 1870 census, the son of Michael and Sarah Wilkins Justice? The LDS IGI records search also identified a Lydia Rhoda Justice b abt 1855 as daughter of Michael and Sarah Wilkins. I found her (I think) living with her sister Mary Jane and her husband John Helm (enumerated as Hellem) in the 1870 census. I can always count on my ancestors to confuse me <grin> Cheryl

Thanks to everyone for being so patient. I should be back in full swing as both babies are doing a lot better. Both new babies just left to go home and I took a couple of minutes to relax and read my emails, yes, this is my way of relaxing as I love do lookups. We still have a long way to go with the week old baby as he has to go see a genetic Dr. the end of next month. The Dr's in Effingham are worried that his head is to big and his arms and legs are too short but to me he looks fine other than being jaundiced a little. I guess they know more than I do. Well, James, better late than never. I thought I had answered this but spring cleaning my mailbox found I had not. Very sorry. Yes, I have a Michael Justice married to Sarah Wilkins. I was able to pick up a little bit of undocumented information from running a parents' search at LDS, one of the FTM family trees and also some information from a WHAM genealogy internet site but I don't know how much of it, if any, is accurate. I finally have at least *some* of my Fayette County IL HELMs and allied families sorted out but my Marion County families are giving me fits. I am VERY sorry if anyone got a virus from my system. I received it from someone on a rootsweb mail list. Since I expected an attachment from the person who sent it to me, I opened it. That was all it took to get the virus. We had just returned from a brief trip and I collected my messages and started deleting the ones that I knew nothing about the surnames given in the subject line. By clicking on "DELETE" it sent the message with an attachment to the person who had sent the message to the list, as well as another message back to me. I then disconnected from the server so as not to have more messages sent. That was after "the horse was out of the barn" though. We have now deleted from our computer the program that runs the virus , so I believe they are okay now. But as an extra safeguard, please don't open a message that I sent you with an attachment. I seldom send attachments to anyone that I hardly know. I prefer to copy and paste to the e-mail message. Then there is no attachment. I DID NOT SEND A MESSAGE TO ANYONE ON THIS LIST IN THE LAST WEEK or more. Again, I am very sorry for anyone whose computer received a message from me with an attachment. Dot

Sandy, I have been reading about your children- Please take some time off genealogy and relax- I as you say am very interested in learning more about my ancestors-filling in the unknown, but I also understand that you are volunteering your time and it sounds like you need rest now- I can wait- When you and the children are better- here is what I have and what I am desperately looking for- Death news article of John Tustison Oct 1888 Some document showing birth of children - Bertha, Turney and Charles I believe Turney also married in Marion County - 30Apr1907- to Pearl Poston? 1878 - I have a certified copy of the Marriage of John Tustison to Adath Caroline Day on 04Aug1878 in Marion County-actually the county sent me piece of paper stating they were married in Marion County on that date. 1880 -John Tustison (Tustrom in Odin Township (June 7, 1880) name is misspelled in census) is shown with Adath in the 1880 census in Odin township, Marion County, Illinois I believe all three of their children were born in Marion County, but I have not been able to obtain records that conclusively show this- Bertha- 1879 (shown in census), Turney (between 1880 and 1887) and Charles Morris who was born 12Jul1889. I believe John was killed on 03Oct1888 - again this is only family lore and the date is not confirmed.I have heard rumors that he was killed in a coal mine accident- but I have not been able to get any real information about that I wonder if Illinois conducted a state census in Marion county in 1885?
