Hi Jeannie My stumblin block is Christopher & Zilpha I just can't seem to come up with anything on them although I have tons from assorted lines from their son George W. on down. would love to share information with you. Sandy
I have noticed that several people are looking for the same surnames and as I have been doing research for others and already have some information collected, if anyone would be interested I will just post what I have for some of these surnames instead of answering each person privately. If not that is ok as I know what it is to open a full inbox of stuff I don't need. Just let me know Sandy

What do you know about this Lucinda Wright? Good things bear repeating...........thanks
Thanks, Marilyn. Those marriages are my 2nd GGF's in Fayette County. The Uriah you found was Uriah W. Helm's cousin. Uriah W. Helm did marry a second time to Louisa J. BULLARD in Marion County in February 1878. They were living in Fayette County IL by the 1880 census and they both died there on the same day in May 1885. I've noticed a very peculiar pattern in that several of my Fayette County IL HELM and LOVELESS families were married in Marion County all between 1877 and 1878 but then lived in Fayette County as of the 1880 census. I found that very curious. I suppose there's a reason, but then again, maybe not <grin> Cheryl [email protected] wrote: > I have the Family Tree Maker's CD Marriage index, Illinois 1851-1900. > > I looked up for Uriah W. I should add these and beg anyone who knows anything about any of these, to please share. It would help solves many years of research for lots of people. Walter Aquilla ALEXANDER, b. 1790-1800, died about 1847-1848, letters of admin. of probate in Marion Co. Five of his children married in Marion Co. in the 1840's--1860's. NEED parents, siblings, county of birth, place of burial, where he was in 1840----ANYTHING. Solomon MITCHELL, b. 1814 IL, died 1858 Wayne Co. IL?? Married Paulina Alexander in Salem, Marion Co. IL in 1843. NEED his parents, siblings, place of burial----whatever. Also would like to know about Solomon's son by a prior marriage, William Mitchell, b. 1840, IL (probably St. Clair Co.). Think he was alive in 1873, to make marriage affidavit for a half brother, in Fayette Co. But wasn't on the census there in 1870. A noted genealogist said that the sign outside the pearly gates will say "We know the parents". I hope not to wait that long. Thanks a lot, Dot
